Currently I am working as a Breastfeeding Counsellor and Educator in Nairobi having been trained by Elizabeth Project International, a Lamaze International approved provider, in 2013.

After certification to become a Breastfeeding Counselor/Educator, I left my full time employment as a Human Resource Manager to follow my passion of supporting lactating mothers. I founded SafeCare Services in January 2014, a private company that supports and educates breastfeeding households.

I am passionate in educating mothers on breastfeeding especially those that are undeserved and may never have access to any lactation support.

I enjoy learning all matters breastfeeding and continually take continuous education and have been skilled by various trainers like UNICEF/Cornell University, School of Public Health-University of Albany and Lactation Education Resources.

My greatest passion is to support the working mother overcome her breastfeeding challenges and achieve her breastfeeding goal. I am also passionate in spreading the message of breastfeeding as a low cost high impact preventive health intervention.
